چکیده
Two field experiments were conducted at Yezin farm and Sepin research farm, Yamenthin, Myanmar to investigate the effect of different mulching materials on growth, soil moisture weed infestation maize identify most
farms, Yamethin, most suitable for cultivation in study areas during dry season (October, 2019 March, 2020). The used randomized complete block design (RCB) with three replications. No six materials, including rice straw mulching, husk stover mung bean soybean white plastic polyethylene tested. NK-621 (120 days) was as tested variety. Different showed higher plant height SPAD value than no whereas highest both locations. LAI achieved from Yezin. At maximum (2.19) recorded growth stage (MGS), (2.71) observed tasseling (TS). crop rate (CGR) (13.31 gm-2day-1) (14.19 Yamethin. Soil content significantly among two White minimal infestation. According results, is best all parameters treatments Yamethin areas.
assigned by using A total seven treatment; (T1) (T2), (T3), (T4), (T5), (T6) (T7) widely sown variety, (T2) sampling times, (T4) (TS) (2.00) grain filling (GFS). Yamenthin. Yamenthin areas.

Maize (Zea mays L.).
Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation is an effective method for introducing genes into maize. In this chapter, we describe a detailed protocol for genetic transformation of the maize genotype Hi II. Our starting plant material is immature embryos cocultivated with an Agrobacterium strain carrying a standard binary vector. In addition to step-by-step laboratory transformation proced...
متن کاملEffects of Mulching and Nitrogen on Soil Nitrate-N Distribution, Leaching and Nitrogen Use Efficiency of Maize (Zea mays L.)
Mulching and nitrogen are critical drivers of crop production for smallholders of the Loess Plateau in China. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of mulching and nitrogen fertilizer on the soil water content, soil nitrate-N content and vertical distribution in maize root-zone. The experiment was conducted over two consecutive years and used randomly assigned field plots with...
متن کاملThe Effects of Spent Engine Oil on Soil Properties and Growth of Maize (Zea mays L.)
The effect of spent engine oil (SEO) on soil properties and growth of maize (Zea mays L.) was investigated. Five treatments (0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 l/kg) of the spent oil were applied to soil in perforated poly bags with maize stands at four weeks after sowing. Soil analysis showed that SEO had no effect on both the pH and texture of the soil. Organic C, N and Mg in the contaminated soils i...
